The SimDeck GP is an ideal way to entertain your guests. For the young especially, the chance to sit in a real race car is a first time occassion for many and for the licensed driver a chance to match their skill and ability to race at speeds well over 200 kph.
Parties at your venue: For the birthday event we deliver the PET250 simulator car all ready for racing and requires minimal setup before the engine screams into action. Typically it remains on the mobile simulation transporter and all we require from the host is a 230 VAC power supply. The experience can occur any time of the day or night. For daytime applications we might need to shade the sides off if it is a very bright sunny day.
The unique apsect of the SimDeck Simulator car setup is the emphasis on providing the experience for both AUDIENCE and DRIVER. This is a crucial aspect for group events, as the driver is not isolated from the audience and is still within ear shot of abuse, unhelpful driver comments, “back seat driver” comments or encouragement from the girl friend. With the audience standing around the vehicle the 4 on board car camera’s and large ICE Digital Daytime Screen keeps everyone engaged throughout the event.

Currently we are offering the full size PET250 Race car simulator for both children and adult parties. For smaller children they might need some supporting cushions in the seat. Typically in this scenario 8 year old body size is the youngest we would recommend. For the larger size person the car will accommodate up to 6ft tall. The youngest age group we recommend is 8 years old. We are able to programme the simulator to accommodate varying driving skills.
SimDeck Birthday Party Packages.
We have 3 Package event options all including our exclusive SimDeck Race Cake. Typically these will be available for weekends (excluding Sundy morning), school holidays and 4pm onwards during the week.
Even if you crash you get to eat your winners cake!
Package One and Two are catered events so all you need to bring are your excited drivers.
Package Three is when you wish to give the Birthday person a special treat in an actual race car simulator under the guidance of our Professional Simulation Race Car Driver.
Off Site – Typical race time bookings is a minimum of 2 hours. Race time is usually allocated 5-10 minutes per person. We will require full vehicle access. Please discuss your site access with us.

If you wish to run your own BBQ and bring your own food to cook, we have a facility fee of $75 for DYI catering. This is suitable only on fine weather. We supply the BBQ, plastic plates etc gas and furniture in out courtyard. Up to 10 adults and a few more if it is a fine day.

Can you tell me the cost of this for a birthday party please.
Hi Richard, Yoiu should have recieved my email reply a few weeks back. We are now offering both on-site and off-site Birthday party Virtual GP Events. To reduce the cost we are now encouraging Birthday Parties at our venue in Albany which are full packaged / catered events.
Costs range from:
$NZ288 – Maximum of 6 children – 1 hour event.
$NZ480 – Maximum of 10 children – 2 hour event.
